Hi everyone, I look forward to meeting you and getting to know about you and what makes you tick I do ask that you have a picture before you contact me or be able to send me one upon request.
As for me I have a passion for Jesus, American Sign Language; and deaf culture, music, which is why I often go under the username of MusicInMotion67.
I'm very outgoing, and love people who are warm and sincere people I can laugh with and just be myself. I would like to meet someone who is well-rounded, has a great sense of humor, but who can also be serious in the right situation... someone who shares many of my interests, but can also introduce me to interests or hobbies of his own... someone who can be my best friend. I feel that a truly successful relationship is based on friendship, but also if you’re not careful you can easily get stuck in that friendship state.
I love being around people with disabilities, and poetry. I love the beach, quiet summer nights dancing under the stars, and cold winter nights curled up on the couch with a good book, or even better a handsome man to cuddle with. I'm fun, loyal and always there for you, I love to joke around and have a good time, I’ve got somewhat of a sarcastic yet not rude sense of humor, I like to joke around a lot but not in a mean way, I have a heart that’s full and ready to give and receive. I’m a very laid back and an easy going person, I have often been told that I’m easy to talk to. I’m the one that’s there for you, celebrating with you when things are going great, and a shoulder to lean on when you feel as if you can’t go on.
But don’t be mistaken about me boys because even though I have my softer side I’m also a very strong woman. I’m not materialistic or stuck-up in anyway. I’m not the prissy kind of gal who’s afraid of breaking a nail :-)
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO I LIKE?
Well when it comes to music I like pretty much everything from country music, R&B, soul, pop, blues, reggae and I love the old classic rock and music from the 80s, I even love music from the 50s and 60s, I have a love for the arts, just about everyone in our family loves and are able to do one form of the arts or another rather it be through drawing, singing, dancing, writing or playing an instrument I've been blessed enough to be able to do the first four all of which I love to do especially singing and dancing, but believe it or not at one time I could actually pick out some stairway to Heaven yes I know not the most Godly of all but at the age of nine I wasn't a Christian and actually didn't even understand what being a Christian was really all about. I also played a few other old songs like “Horse With No Name” however that was when I was nine haha, and dang it we just had to move back to Cali from KY and I didn't have anything to practice with and forgot everything I knew. I think it would be cool to learn the guitar again or how to play piano which I've been wanting to do for years now, I was also raised around pretty much all boys so it’s not easy to embarrass me, but when it comes down to it I prefer the softer side of me.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO I LIKE?
Hmmmm the question should be what don't I like haha. When it comes to music I like pretty much everything from Christian, Country music, R&B, Soul, Pop, Blues, Reggae and I love, love, love Classic Rock and music from the 80s, I even love music from the 50’s and 60s so I like a little bit of everything except Rap and todays Metal and all the bang your head kind of stuff is just NOT for me.
FIRST DATE:
I think it would be amazing to just go to the beach about an hour or hour and a half before sunset, take a blanket to sit on, a picnic basket and simply get to know one another as we watch the sun go down. I'm not materialistic and even though I like dressing up and going out for a night out on the town, I really prefer the simpler things in life, those are the times that will stand out in your memory the most. The man I’m looking for MUST have a "relationship" with God first and foremost as my faith is very important to me and I couldn’t have made it this far without Jesus in my life. I want someone who’s family oriented, mature yet has a sense of humor and isn't afraid to laugh at himself, A man who has no problem showing his romantic side, someone who’s sensitive yet can be strong and take control when necessary, he must be genuine, and honest, I’m not into playing head games, so anyone who likes to do so or are liars or deceitful can just keep walking because all it does for relationships is cause heartache and breaks the trust you once had between you. Relationships are built on friendship, communication, and trust and without trust or communication you have no relationship, I want a someone who’s attractive because let's face it without some form of physical attraction a relationship won’t get very far however I don’t feel that attraction can only be found in looks, it goes much deeper than that, after all looks will fade with time but a great personality will last a life time, you can be a gorgeous man but have a lousy attitude and way of treating people and that overrides any physical attraction there may be, but even more so I want someone with a kind heart who can accept people for who they are, and always striving to reach goals to improve their own lives and keep the mind sharp.
He must be able to commit to relationships and stick it out through the good times AND the bad. I’m not here to play around, I am looking for a serious relationship that could hopefully become something more, someone I can share the rest of my life with, my best friend and soul mate, I know it sounds a bit cliche but it's very true. I want someone who is family oriented and is not too aggressive yet not to passive either. Gentlemen if you're not looking for a serious relationship then please just pass me by, but if you're up for putting your heart on the line just as I am then I'd like to see where it could go.
