I am a no-nonsense, no drama guy. I am told that I am good looking (athletic and professional). I am a thinker and like to have good conversations - not gossip - about pretty much anything and a glass of wine (working on going more with feelings rather than thinking everything through). Life has broken and humbled me quite a bit and I have realized that I dont know as much as I once thought, though hopefully I have learned from my missteps. I have learned that I must be honest even if it hurts me. I have loved and lost, including the best woman God ever put in my life, so I think I have learned what is important. My job is good and challenging. I get along with my clients very well. I am pretty close to my daughter ( United Kingdom ) . While I enjoy sports, I dont sit around watching much of it, prefer to do things (I work out regularly and enjoy the sports that wont cripple me at this point, e.g., golf and have taken up sailing, or at least am learning). I read quite a bit. I am a level headed guy, that does not stress about much or take personal many things, though I think I have my priorities right and am passionate about the right stuff, such as my mate, if I have one. Let me build on that: the Love Style lists me as a Romantic, and while I agree with much of it as I do want a deep relationship that spans all aspects of love. What I am trying to be is have one foot in the Passionate love style - more "here and now." I am trying to go more with my love feelings and to make sure the woman never doubts how I feel about her and that I am willing to express it in a spontaneous way; while also maintains my ability to be emotionally stable and a rock in tough spots. I am one who is optimistic about most things and thinks that much is possible, with God's help. I am very loyal and affectionate. I am the one others come to fix this or that or to get a suggestion on how to address a situation.

My "match" should be comfortable with herself. I mean that she is attractive and knows it but does not need to show everyone what she has under the wrapping. She should be happy and pretty content with herself and have learned what is important in a relationship and what is not. I am on the conservative side (not particularly politically active), so she should be comfortable with that (not looking for a debate partner or someone that has to agree with me on everything, nor argue every point). I am probably not ever going to be the life of the party, though my daughter says I have a goofy sense of humor. I have worked hard to not make jokes of other people and to lose the sarcasm. I like movies more than television shows and prefer intimate gatherings to large ones. I am a bit of a loner. Not sure why, but just seems to be me, though I am an extrovert when necessary. I continue to work on caring about other people around me.
Being physically active as opposed to someone who sits around is a good thing. You should be able to receive affection and feel comfortable giving some. We all have trust issues at this point in life, but you should be able to overcome this the more we are around each other. I am trusting and love easily, perhaps to a fault, but I dont know another way. You should be comfortable asking me pretty much anything, which is better than making assumptions. I will safe more for later. You should also feel comfortable enough to initial contact if you find you like what you read and not assume that is the sole domain for the guy.
