I am 53 years old, am pretty outgoing, have a good sense of humor, and enjoy having fun in lots of ways. Nature is very important to me, as well as physical activity. I have had a long career in the arts (lived in nyc for years) that is now expressed through teaching. I like new challenges, learning new things, and traveling. I enjoy time with my family, the beach, restaurants, festivals, and just curling up at home on a winter afternoon.

My desired mate is someone who is engaged in life.....independent....a free thinker....open to life..........and sometimes thinks outside of the box. Other qualities are that he is at peace with himself, has a life already, and isn't desperate because he needs a partner to be whole. He knows how to communicate his feelings effectively, and is passionate about life in general.
I don't think you can describe what will be perfect for you, because sometimes we connect with people that we never plan to. I like humor, and can be known to be sarcastic at times. A good match for me would be someone who knows how to not take life too seriously. (I am still working on all of the above qualities...and know my match will also be a work in progress :)
